BIKES: From Interdisciplinary Education to Situated Urban Practice

Henrik von Coler presented BIKES as an ongoing artistic research project that turns four electric cargo bicycles into a moving, networked instrument for sound art and music performance. The talk connected technical development and interdisciplinary student work with public activations in Atlanta, and reflected on the logistical, technical, and social boundaries encountered in situated urban practice.
